When you’re planning your wedding, make sure that you don’t forget some of the important details that can be easy to overlook. One of these small details is the wedding toast. To that end, you want to make sure that everyone can partake in the toast, even if they don’t drink. For that reason, make sure you have plenty of champagne and sparkling cider on hand at each table, so everyone can choose the appropriate toasting beverage.
Also make sure the table is outfitted with wedding toasting flutes. To save you the hassle and headache, make sure these are already set out on each table. This way, everyone from young to old can toast the new, happy couple. Some people even get these flutes etched with a personalized message, and in this way, they can double as your wedding favors.

Who is supposed to make the toast at the reception?

Traditionally, the best man makes the toast. More recently, the maid or matron of honor makes an additional toast. I’ve even seen the father of the bride make a special toast to the newlyweds.
