Cheers to the happy couple!!  A toast to your new life together requires a distinctive set of toasting flutes.  Flute sets come in a wide range of styles from casual designs, to a more classic look, to down-right exquisite.  Plastic, glass, crystal, silver, or pewter, are just a few of the types available.

If you want something really unique, a special theme design like Calla Lily, Renaissance, or Seaside Jewel Stemmed sets of wedding toasting flutes are great options.  Add a little extra special touch and personalize your flutes.  Personalizing toasting flutes is very popular for the wedding couple or as a gift idea for the bridal party.  Glass can be etched and metal engraved with your names and wedding date or the initials of those in your wedding party.  They really make for a great momento of your special day.

No doubt these beautiful keepsake flutes will be used to toast many special occasions to come!

Giving the Big Toast

toasting flutesI’ve been to enough weddings to understand the importance of the best man’s speech. It always arrives with great fanfare early in the reception, and it sets the tone for the rest of the night. I’ve heard speeches that balance humor and nostalgia to perfect effect, and I’ve witnessed a few that have fallen flat – only to be met with an awkward silence and then some scattered applause.

When my best friend finally tied the knot last spring, I was ready to take the honor very seriously. I practiced the speech diligently, keeping all of the details a secret. The night of the rehearsal dinner, I declined to raise the toasting flutes; everyone would have to wait until the big day to hear my speech. In the end, I executed the speech with an oratorical flair that I never knew I possessed. It was a huge hit, and I’m fairly sure it put me in good stead with a couple of the bridesmaids.

fluteWhen you’re planning your wedding, make sure that you don’t forget some of the important details that can be easy to overlook. One of these small details is the wedding toast. To that end, you want to make sure that everyone can partake in the toast, even if they don’t drink. For that reason, make sure you have plenty of champagne and sparkling cider on hand at each table, so everyone can choose the appropriate toasting beverage.

Also make sure the table is outfitted with wedding toasting flutes. To save you the hassle and headache, make sure these are already set out on each table. This way, everyone from young to old can toast the new, happy couple. Some people even get these flutes etched with a personalized message, and in this way, they can double as your wedding favors.
